Meeting of Ambassador with the Minister of Environment and Climate Change of Qatar
On April 17, 2025, a meeting took place between the Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Tajikistan to the State of Qatar Nurmurod Mahmadali and the Minister of Environment and Climate Change of the State of Qatar Dr. Abdullah bin Abdulaziz bin Turki Al Subaie.
During the meeting, the sides discussed key issues of bilateral cooperation in the fields of environmental protection, climate change and its negative consequences, ways to mitigate the impact of natural disasters in the Republic of Tajikistan, as well as strengthening the professional capacity of specialists in this sector.
Special attention was paid to the participation of the delegation of the Qatari Ministry of Environment and Climate Change in the International Conference on Glacier Preservation, which will be held in the Republic of Tajikistan from 29 to 31 May 2025.
The meeting was held in a friendly atmosphere and laid the groundwork for further strengthening of cooperation.
