Celebration of Navruz at the Embassy of Tajikistan in Qatar
On April 20, 2025, the International Holiday of Navruz was ceremoniously celebrated at the Embassy of the Republic of Tajikistan in the State of Qatar, with the participation of compatriots living abroad and international guests. The festive event was held under the slogan “Tajikistan is the Homeland of Navruz,” aiming to honor the national traditions of the Tajik people and to present the ancient cultural heritage of Navruz at the international level.
The celebration continued with congratulatory remarks by the Ambassador of Tajikistan to Qatar, H.E. Mr. Nurmurod Mahmadali. Guests were offered a variety of traditional Navruz dishes, including osh palov, dalda, sambusa, sumanak, halva, and various sweets. They also had the opportunity to get acquainted with national elements such as chakan embroidery, suzani, traditional jewelry, and handicrafts.
Guests expressed high appreciation for the traditional Navruz cuisine and the rich folk artistry of the Tajik people.
